5 medium sweet potatoes
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup apple cider
salt and pepper, to taste

Peel sweet potatoes and cut into 2" slices; place in crockpot. Whisk together brown sugar, maple syrup, cider, salt and pepper. Pour over potatoes. Cover; cook on low 7-9 hours.
